"Dr. Sumanth Daram has been my doctor for over a year. He was referred by my wonderful PPC, Dr. Sumera Muzaffar and highly recommended. True to Dr. Muzaffar’s assessment, Dr. Daram is an exceptional and dedicated physician with a kind and gentle demeanor who takes time to listen to his patients and to explain everything very clearly. This is my personal experience regarding Dr. Daram’s quality of care and medical expertise: He recently performed a colonoscopy and endoscopy procedure on me. I felt a great deal of anxiety prior to the procedure. Dr. Daram took the time to listen to my concerns, address my apprehension, and relieve my fears. I read about the side effects that may result from the procedure the evening before. It was a long list of possible issues from mild to severe. To my utter surprise and relief, other than fatigue from fasting the day before and staying up late into the night to drink the required concoction, I felt perfectly fine - wonderful in fact - after the procedure. I feel confident that this is a testament to Dr. Daram’s outstanding abilities as a physician. I trust Dr. Daram and highly recommend him with enthusiasm."

"Everything went well and I was pleased with my experience for a first time colonoscopy. My only complaint didn’t surface until the very end of my experience. Once I was awake in the recovery room I was briefed on my results by a nurse, asked to get dressed, and then asked to step into the waiting area for car rides. This caught me off guard because I had yet to talk to the doctor after my procedure. I was told he would meet me in the waiting area and I could leave from there. After about 20min of waiting I was never met by the doctor and it seemed to be brushed off by other staff. I ended up leaving due to the length of wait I experienced and never received a phone call as I asked to have. As a nurse myself, I feel the nurse that took care of me during my recovery stage should’ve allowed me to stay in the recovery bed until the doctor came in. This disappointment me. Otherwise, everything else was a good experience."

"Seeing Dr. RAO for follow-up of long case of diarrhea & Constipation, also to review several tests run after last visit on stomach & hernia found by another doctor. Saw her new PA again first. Believe me she needs one. Don't feel she's (Dr. RAO's) getting away from seeing you. THAT'S how good she is. (I'm wondering if I should hold back on referring others to her for a while.) If her boss is listening, this woman deserves a raise! After the PA went over my test results & anything else's; my favorite Dr. Rao came, gave me a script for my Constipation, covered the other issues and asked if had further questions. Typical of me, I forgot a couple of things, but I will call Monday to speak with her equally hard working, but always nice, helpful and follows up for me. Denise has been there longer than me. So, she's very familiar with procedures & Dr.Rao's needs. If you've been looking for a super G.I. look no more. I found her while having another go around with a condition I feared was about to be the death of me. Several GI's had failed to find & treat me correctly. If they'd tried just one more test I might have been over this a year before. But I know now ways to deal with it that usually work, if not, I quickly schedule a new appointment. Hope to meet you here some day."
