I called again this morning and spoke to receptionist, Christina, & explained that i had a left a message for Dr R.'s but no response. Christina took the Xtra step and faxed orders for me herself! Now that's good customer service. She didn't have to do it....but she did."

"Everything went well and I was pleased with my experience for a first time colonoscopy. My only complaint didn’t surface until the very end of my experience. Once I was awake in the recovery room I was briefed on my results by a nurse, asked to get dressed, and then asked to step into the waiting area for car rides. This caught me off guard because I had yet to talk to the doctor after my procedure. I was told he would meet me in the waiting area and I could leave from there. After about 20min of waiting I was never met by the doctor and it seemed to be brushed off by other staff. I ended up leaving due to the length of wait I experienced and never received a phone call as I asked to have. As a nurse myself, I feel the nurse that took care of me during my recovery stage should’ve allowed me to stay in the recovery bed until the doctor came in. This disappointment me. Otherwise, everything else was a good experience."

Believe me she needs one. Don't feel she's (Dr. RAO's) getting away from seeing you. THAT'S how good she is. (I'm wondering if I should hold back on referring others to her for a while.) If her boss is listening, this woman deserves a raise! After the PA went over my test results & anything else's; my favorite Dr. Rao came, gave me a script for my Constipation, covered the other issues and asked if had further questions. Typical of me, I forgot a couple of things, but I will call Monday to speak with her equally hard working, but always nice, helpful and follows up for me. Denise has been there longer than me. So, she's very familiar with procedures & Dr.Rao's needs. If you've been looking for a super G.I. look no more. I found her while having another go around with a condition I feared was about to be the death of me. Several GI's had failed to find & treat me correctly. If they'd tried just one more test I might have been over this a year before. But I know now ways to deal with it that usually work, if not, I quickly schedule a new appointment. Hope to meet you here some day."
